Amersham Concert Club concludes its 59th season on Saturday 21 March with a captivating chamber music recital by Ensemble Mirage, featuring works by Liebermann, Vaughan Williams, Gnesin and von Dohnányi.

On Saturday, the 21st of March, Amersham Concert Club brings its 59th concert season to a close with a special recital by the acclaimed Ensemble Mirage, promising an evening of rich and expressive chamber music.

The programme features four outstanding works for strings, horn, clarinet and piano by a diverse group of composers: Lowell Liebermann, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Mikhail Gnesin and Ernő von Dohnányi. Each piece offers its own distinctive musical voice – from lyrical English romanticism and vibrant Eastern European colour to energetic modern chamber writing.

Ensemble Mirage is known for its engaging performances and exceptional musicianship, combining virtuosic playing with a warm and expressive ensemble sound.
