An all-inclusive summer vineyard tour from Amersham, offering tastings, winemaker stories and a locally sourced lunch in the heart of the Chilterns.

After a successful launch at the end of 2025, Chiltern Safaris are delighted to announce a summer of vineyard tours departing from Amersham – a relaxed and delicious way to explore the Chilterns.

The first tour runs on Saturday 9 May, visiting Daws Hill Vineyard, Dropmore Vineyard and Woodfine Wine. Thanks to the Chilterns’ chalky soil and favourable climate, these boutique producers are creating wines that are increasingly catching the attention of the wider wine community.

What makes these tours truly special is the chance to meet the vineyard owners and winemakers themselves, hear their individual stories, and sample their wines right where they are made. Each all-inclusive day also features a two-course lunch, freshly prepared using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

A perfect day out combining great wine, local food and the beautiful Chilterns countryside, all starting right here in Amersham.
