Take your phone or camera into the woods for a relaxed, beginner-friendly photography workshop at Old Hanging Wood, Little Chalfont, on Saturday 19 September

There’s something about woodland in early autumn that makes you want to reach for a camera — shifting light through the trees, changing colours and all those tiny details you might normally walk straight past.

On Saturday 19 September, nearby Old Hanging Wood in Little Chalfont is hosting a relaxed, beginner-friendly Woodland Photography Workshop, led by photographer Donato Cinicolo.

Designed for anyone who would like to feel more confident behind the lens, the morning will be spent exploring the woodland and learning how to make the most of natural light, composition and the beautiful surroundings. And there’s no need for professional equipment — a phone or camera is equally welcome.

With a maximum of just eight participants, it promises to be a friendly, hands-on session with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, experiment and pick up practical tips as you wander through the woods.

The workshop is organised by Old Hanging Wood CIC, a local Community Interest Company bringing people together through activities in this special patch of woodland just a short distance from Amersham.
