Leave the children at home for an adults-only Halloween afternoon of miniature pigs, pumpkin smashing, music and marshmallows around the fire on 31 October and 1 November.
Who decided children should get all the Halloween fun?
On Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, the farm is handing things over to the grown-ups for Halloween Extravaganza – After Dark, a special adults-only edition of its popular Piggy Pet & Play experience.
From 2 pm–4 pm, you can head into the petting pens to meet, brush and groom the miniature pigs, say hello to the goats and explore the farm before taking on a Halloween-themed trail — complete with goodies at the end and the chance to win a pig adoption.
There are pumpkins to pick and decorate, plenty of opportunities for suitably autumnal photographs and, for anyone who finds pumpkin decorating just a little too civilised, pumpkin smashing too.
Add music, hot food and drinks, fancy dress and marshmallows toasted around the fire, and this sounds rather less like a traditional farm visit and more like a wonderfully quirky way to spend Halloween weekend with friends.
And yes, dressing up is encouraged. You are spending an afternoon grooming miniature pigs and smashing pumpkins, after all — this probably isn’t the occasion to worry about looking sensible.
Saturday 31 October & Sunday 1 November 2026
2 pm–4 pm
£30 per person

Come for the Halloween atmosphere, stay for the pigs — and perhaps take out any lingering frustrations on a pumpkin before you leave.
