Hunt for hidden pumpkins, solve a spooky puzzle and earn a Halloween treat at Amersham Museum's Pumpkin Trail, running from 23 October to 1 November.

Something rather spooky is happening at Amersham Museum this October half term… and there are pumpkins hiding everywhere!

From Friday 23 October to Sunday 1 November, young visitors are invited to take on the museum’s Halloween Pumpkin Trail, a fun little adventure that combines exploring, puzzle-solving and a well-earned Halloween treat.

Somewhere among the museum’s fascinating rooms and displays, a collection of pumpkins is waiting to be discovered. But finding them is only half the challenge.

Each hidden pumpkin holds a clue, and once you’ve tracked them all down, you’ll need to put the letters together to reveal a secret spooky word.

Crack the puzzle and you’ll earn yourself a trick or treat!

It’s a lovely way to encourage children to explore the museum, look a little closer at their surroundings and discover some of Amersham’s history along the way.

And while the little detectives are busy hunting for pumpkins, grown-ups can enjoy wandering through the museum’s historic rooms and collections too.

Perfect for a half-term outing, this inexpensive Halloween activity adds a little extra excitement to a visit to one of Old Amersham’s favourite attractions.
