Join us on a winter nature walk in Amersham on the 19th of January

Come with us on the 19th of January on a winter nature walk up an old drover’s route and visit Shardeloes Lake. We’ll also be getting coffee/lunch after in a local café and you’re welcome to join us!

We will meet under the market hall in Old Amersham at 10.30. If the weather is likely to be bad we will postpone the walk and let participants know the evening before by email.

The walk will be led by Wild Amersham volunteers Marieke and Adrian, and you will look at trees, winter plant life, and birds.

This two hour gentle walk is suitable for adults and children 5 years and over. As we will be looking for wildlife it is not suitable for dogs. The route will include uneven ground and a hill and paths may be muddy; wear sturdy, waterproof shoes and bring binoculars if you have them.
