A retrospective exhibition of a renown local artist, Rosina Flower’s paintings at Penn Street Gallery between the 1st and the 30th of June!

Penn Street Gallery is delighted to announce a retrospective exhibition of Rosina Flower’s paintings. To celebrate Rosina’s life 1933 – 2023 and illustrious career, there will be a mixture of her flower paintings, still life and water colours on display. Working closely with Rosina’s daughter, Laura, the team have carefully selected the collection of works that will be on display along with personal archives documenting Rosina’s many previous shows.

As the first exhibition since Rosina’s passing, it’s a wonderful opportunity to purchase and invest in this renowned local artist. Previous exhibitions have included; The Royal Society of British Artists, Gallerie Hautefeuille in Paris and Buckinghamshire County Museum, plus many more.

Curator Ria Charlton says ‘It has been a huge honour to be entrusted with creating the first posthumous exhibition of Rosina’s work. It’s a wonderful fit to celebrate such a great local artist who only lived three miles away from the gallery in Hazelmere. I’m so excited to share the excellent work with the public and to celebrate such talent’

Penn Street Gallery was founded by artist Paul Bell showcasing established fine artists, sculptures and photographers. Artists include Amersham’s Ali Mackie, Chesham’s Chris Sims and Winchmore Hill’s Lilly Henry. Penn Street boasts two fantastic pubs, a gin distillery and beautiful woodland walks to make a trip to the gallery a wonderful day out.

The exhibition will run from the 1st to the 30th of June Wednesday to Sunday 10am-5pm. Please note the gallery can only be accessed by stairs.
