Chiltern Safaris are launching its very first Food & Drink Tour on Friday, 8th November, with the possibility of another date before the end of the year. This is an exciting new way to explore the area’s natural beauty, meet talented local artisans, and taste the very best of what the Chilterns has to offer.

From vineyard visits to seasonal barn meals, butchery classes and guided walks – each event is designed to showcase what makes our region so special.

The Food & Drink Tour Experience

This is the first tour of its kind – a full-day, all-inclusive adventure combining nature, artisan skills, and local flavours. Perfect for anyone who wants to explore the Chilterns through its sights, tastes and stories.

Here’s what you’ll enjoy:

  • Pick-up from Amersham Railway Station for a seamless start to the day

  • Guided autumn nature walk at Whiteleaf Hill – a gentle 40-minute stroll with Alex, who will highlight seasonal flora and fauna among the stunning autumnal leaves

  • Introductory butchery class with Block and Butcher – discover the different cuts of meat, learn what to buy in each season, and pick up both traditional and modern butchery skills

  • Two-course seasonal lunch at Oxmoor Farm – where every dish is crafted with sustainability in mind, shining a light on how food is produced, supplied and consumed

  • Wine & cheese pairing at No.2 Pound Street – indulge in a specially curated tasting of four English cheeses paired with boutique wines, hosted by one of the Chilterns’ most beloved cheesemongers and wine shops

From start to finish, the day is about discovery, connection, and enjoying the very best of Chiltern produce in a relaxed, welcoming way.
