The exciting free events for children and families at Amersham Field Centre. The first one is taking place this Saturday 11th May.

Join Field Studies Council Amersham for free events for children, families and adults to learn more about nature and wildlife here in Amersham.

The Nature Champions sessions will range from minibeast hunts and pond dipping for children and families through to biological recording and learning how you can help develop biodiversity in your garden and local green spaces for adults.

We are working with Wild Amersham and Sustainable Amersham to provide sessions that will get you outside, exploring nature and discovering the wildlife that lies on your doorstep.

Learn to identify different species of invertebrates, plants, trees and mammals and delve deeper into Amersham’s ecosystem to see what you can do to help protect it.

This project is fully funded by Amersham and Villages Community Board meaning that sessions are free of charge.*

The first event for children aged 5-11 years old is taking place this Saturday 11th May.

*  Sessions are free for residents of the Amersham Community Board Area (Amersham, Chesham Bois, Little Chalfont and Coleshill)
