Meet BJ Tailor, the dedicated Community Champion at Tesco Amersham, who has been a familiar face at the store for the past six years. Over the last two years, BJ has become well-known for his tireless community work and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact locally.
In a thrilling bid to raise funds for Scannapeal, BJ has decided to take on a skydive! With the invaluable assistance of Therese Cooklin, BJ has rallied a group of eight brave individuals to join him in this adrenaline-pumping adventure, all in support of Scannapeal. Among the notable participants are Mimi Harker, Chair of Buckinghamshire County Council, and Claire Wise, Events and Fundraiser Officer for Scannapeal.
Scannapeal is a registered charity dedicated to raising funds to purchase lifesaving medical equipment for local hospitals, including Amersham, High Wycombe, and Stoke Mandeville. BJ’s motivation is deeply personal; he understands the critical role this equipment plays in early diagnosis and how crucial it is to keep such technology up to date for the community’s well-being.
“Many people will, at some point in their lives, benefit from the advanced medical equipment that Scannapeal helps to provide,” BJ shares. “It’s essential that we support this cause to ensure our hospitals have the best tools for early diagnosis and treatment.”
Join us in cheering on BJ and his team as they take the leap for a cause that could touch all our lives. For more information on how to support BJ’s skydive and Scannapeal,
